Puerto Plata welcomes 17,000+ cruise passengers in just one week

Puerto Plata.- 17,292 cruise passengers arrived in the North Coast city through the marine terminal Amber Cove (Bahia Maimon) during the week ending today Saturday.

The first cruise ship to arrive was the Carnival Conquest, with 4,130 occupants, including tourists and crew last Monday.

Meanwhile the ship Koningsdamc arrived on Tuesday, with 3,675 occupants.

The Carnival Victory and the Niew Amsterdam docked with 3,854 and 3,035 visitors, respectively, both on Wednesday.

the Carnival Ecstasy, with 2,976 cruise passengers arrived  Thursday , the same day as the AlDaluna, with 2,657 visitors, according to North Zone deputy Tourism minister, Julio Almonte.
