Dominican annual tourism DATE set for March 26 to 28

Santo Domingo.- National Hotels and Tourism Association (Asonahores) vice president, Andrés Marranzini on Mon. announced the 20th Dominican Annual Tourism Exchange (DATE), an international tourism fair to be held March 26 to 28, hosted jointly with the Tourism Ministry and other sector entities.

He said the activity is set for Blue Mall Punta Cana, where a business exchange will take place among international wholesalers, tour operators, incentive groups, airlines and Dominican Republic’s most important tourism suppliers.

Interviewed by Diario Libre, the business leader also stressed the event’s secure surroundings, adding that the Dominican Republic’s tourism regions have an incidents index far below all competing countries.
