New direct flight between Punta Cana and Sanford-Orlando

Florida.- The Dominican Republic’s Consular Mission in Orlando, led by Consul General Francisco Holi Matos, made an official visit to Sanford International Airport, where they were received by airport authorities and local officials.

During the visit, the launch of a new direct flight route between Punta Cana and Sanford-Orlando was officially announced. The service, operated by Arajet, is set to begin on October 26, 2025, aiming to boost tourism, commerce, and cultural exchange between the Dominican Republic and Florida.

This new route marks a key milestone in reinforcing the strategic relationship between the Dominican Republic and the state of Florida.
