Collado: Dominican Republic welcomed record 863,000 air tourists in July
Santo Domingo.- Tourism Minister David Collado reported that Dominican tourism reached a record high in July with the arrival of 863,000 air visitors, consolidating its position as the best month in the history of the sector. “July was the best month in the history of tourism in the Dominican Republic. 863,000 tourists arrived by air, an unprecedented record. This country, before 2019 onwards, had never reached 700,000, and already in the summer we’re reaching 863,000. This was what was needed: a new terminal,” he said.
