President Luis Abinader arrives in Qatar for Doha World Forum

Doha.- President Luis Abinader arrived in Doha, Qatar, on Friday to participate in the Doha World Forum, which starts on Saturday, December 7. The forum, running until December 8, will focus on global challenges, public policy, and sustainability. Abinader’s official delegation includes key ministers such as José Manuel Vicente (Finance), Joel Santos (Energy and Mines), and Hugo Rivera (Vice Minister of Economic Affairs, Mirex), along with other senior officials.

During his visit, Abinader will engage in high-level meetings with Qatari leaders, including Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. The discussions will aim to strengthen bilateral ties and explore new opportunities in areas like energy, security, health, tourism, and investments.

Abinader and his delegation are scheduled to return to the Dominican Republic on Tuesday, after concluding their official meetings in Qatar.
