Haiti responds to U.S. entry ban

Haiti.- The Haitian government has acknowledged the Trump administration’s decision to ban entry into the United States for citizens of 12 countries, including Haiti. In a statement, Haiti’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed concern over the impact on Haitian families both domestically and abroad and emphasized the measure comes amid ongoing efforts to improve national and border security with international support.
The ministry reiterated Haiti’s commitment to finding rapid solutions and maintaining dialogue with the U.S. government on migration and security issues, in line with the Los Angeles Declaration on safe and orderly migration. The entry ban, which takes effect Monday, includes both immigrant and non-immigrant categories, though exceptions are granted for legal U.S. residents, previously issued visa holders, diplomats, international organization personnel, and some humanitarian cases, including adopted children.
No racist or accusation of arms trafficking??? If Haiti doesn’t want to help itself, we can’t continue to burden our country with its issues. I’m with the U.S. on this, they can’t eternally finance the chaos in Haiti that never improves, let it get worse enough for people to act in the best interest of their country, finally.
DR should do the same, but it’s actually doing the opposite.
