Young woman dies during plastic surgery

Santo Domingo.- A young medical student has diedduring plastic surgery in the north western city of Mao.

According to doctors, Rafaelina Francisca TaverasJiménez, 22, suffered a cardiac arrest while being treated at a private medicalfacility.

She was under anesthetic prior to breast reductionsurgery. Her body has been sent to the National Forensic Science Institute(INACIF) in Santiago for autopsy.
