Top traffic cop, bus, truck owners agree to improve transit
Santo Domingo.- Metropolitan Transit Authority (AMET) director Juan Geronimo Brown met yesterday with the main leaders of the country’s bus and truck owners associations, who pledged their support for the efforts and initiatives to improve vehicle traffic nationwide.
Brown signed the “The Three C" agreement with transport business leaders Juan Hubieres, Blas Peralta, Oscar Almanzar, Alfredo Linares (Cambita), and Antonio Marte, aimed at bolstering the training, awareness and control over their respective businesses and drivers.
Brown and the transport representatives held the meeting in the Amet headquarters, where his senior staff of engineers, technicians, designers and urban traffic planners was also present.
