Dominican-American “lone wolf” terror suspect to plead guilty: CNN
New York – Dominican-American Jose Pimentel, dubbed a “lone wolf” terror suspect, is expected to plead guilty in a New York court today, CNN reports.
Pimentel, who lives in New York and also known as Muhammad Yousuf, was arrested in 2011 on charges of assembling pipe bombs and planned to target U.S. military personnel and civilians, according to prosecutors.
Last month Pimentel pleaded guilty to one count of felony attempted criminal possession of a weapon as an act of terrorism. He faces up to 16 years in prison.
