BiggerPelegrín accuses foreign agencies of extending Haitian conflicts
Santo Domingo.- Pelegrín Castillo raised concerns about a purported high-level intelligence operation led by foreign powers, particularly from Washington, aimed at destabilizing the Dominican Republic.
Castillo shared his worries via Twitter, expressing alarm over the potential threats facing the country. He suggested that this operation seeks to prolong and intensify the conflicts in Haiti, potentially spreading them across the island. Castillo believes this strategy could pave the way for a “Dominican solution” to Haitian issues, potentially leading to foreign intervention under the guise of “humanitarian aid” and a possible Haitian insurrection within Dominican territory.
He also criticized the significant interference from foreign and international agencies, including numerous NGOs and USAID, accusing them of distorting historical and cultural narratives and exploiting the Dominican Republic’s vulnerabilities—such as corruption, organized crime, and rising debt.
Castillo noted that while national leaders are enticed by the prospect of the Dominican Republic becoming a major investment destination, there is an accelerated settlement of the Haitian population in the country. He pointed to recommendations in the 1949 Mission to Haiti report and the 2005 FESS report to the U.S. Congress as evidence of this strategy.
He urged for national unity, asserting that the survival of the Dominican Republic as a nation-state depends on the mobilization and resilience of its people. “The enemies of the Dominican Republic, the Trinitarian and Restorationist, are betting that we are not a united nation. We Dominicans will prove them wrong,” Castillo declared, concluding with the motto “God, Country, and Liberty.”

Agreed. Pelegrin is always looking for foreign actors when in reality the problem is homegrown.
The fact is, DR hasn’t belonged to DR in a long time. It’s OWNED by special interests. The influx of Haitians has always existed , just by proximity. Now just exacerbated by the manufactured chaos since the assassination. They’re flowing by the truck loads into DR. (Displacement so Iridium flows to the real powers of the world).
Not to mention all that cheap labor for those new investment projects being built in DR.
Fact is, everyone is coming to DR, Venezuela, Colombians , Europeans, Canadians , Ecuadorians, you name it. He is right about the manufactured crisis on the other side, but the plan is much deeper than that. DR has been sold via loans and more loans. But they have you looking at the big red bouncing ball.
Keep hitting home runs and smoking hookah, while what’s left of DR is sold to the highest bidder. Oh and buy some land yourself.
