Haitian Presidential Transitional Council declines invitation to Abinader’s inauguration

Haiti.- Amid ongoing tensions between Haiti and the Dominican Republic, the Haitian Presidential Transitional Council has declined an invitation to attend the swearing-in ceremony of President Luis Abinader as he begins his second term.

The decision comes as the airspace between the two nations remains closed, complicating travel for the Haitian delegation. Reports indicate that to attend the inauguration, the Haitian representatives would have had to undertake a lengthy journey, first flying to Miami, United States, before returning to the island to reach Santo Domingo.

Meanwhile, the Dominican Republic continues its preparations for Abinader’s inauguration, an event expected to draw dignitaries from several countries and serve as a significant moment in Dominican politics.

We don’t care about DR too. Who the hell you guys think you are? If it wasn’t for Haiti you jerks wouldn’t have a country. As a matter of fact you still don’t have a declaration of independence

Why are dominicans crying over this???????? I am Haitian and I do not want any relations between these two countries. Seal the border, close the embassies. No movements of goods and people between these two countries. Just because we are stuck on this little worthless island does not mean we must have relations. Haiti needs to keep its people out of DR..Each country mind their own business and stay away from each other.

Okay, time to add this lowly Haitian to my trusty word filter, so I won’t have to read his repetitive posts ever again. He keeps saying the same thing over and over. It’s like he’s incapable of coming up with a different thought to address the Dominican-Haitian issue.
