Dominican senators oppose border closure

Santo Domingo.- Amid Haiti’s ongoing humanitarian crisis and escalating violence, both government and opposition senators in the Dominican Republic have expressed opposition to a complete border closure. Instead, they advocate for increased controls to prevent the illegal entry of Haitian migrants.
Ruling party Senator Alexis Victoria Yeb argued that closing the four border points would negatively impact the provinces that rely heavily on binational trade. Similarly, Senator Santiago Zorrilla suggested strengthening border controls to prevent the undocumented migration of Haitians.
The opposition, represented by Fuerza del Pueblo, supports increased surveillance along the border to manage the situation. Senator Antonio Marte emphasized the need for measures targeting sectors that employ undocumented Haitian workers.

Just like fixing a broken water pipe. SHUT OFF the water. Fix the leak. RESTART a CONTROLLED Flow. Works the same for a broken border.

So if I understand they want Haitian labor and money but they don’t want them because they are black, well don’t touch the money that come from a black nation. why they don’t have a legal process to immigrate and provide visas to some that are illegible which is all Haitians because the is good for DR economy .All the foolishness is about race and you know all the above .
