Dominican ambassador in Uruguay lays a wreath at Duarte’s monument

Montevideo.– Dominican ambassador to Uruguay Daniel Guerrero laid a wreath at Juan Pablo Duarte’s monument in Montevideo as part of the activities for the 172nd Anniversary of the Independence carried out by the Dominican mission in the South American country.

According to Uruguay’s Presidency website, Guerrero also laid a wreath on the grave of Uruguayan patriot Jose Artigas and pointed out the Dominican government is willing to strengthen the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) as a means of approach and coordination in the region.

The Dominican ambassador said the government has a large agenda that includes high level meetings aimed at strengthening this institutional integration platform among Latin American and Caribbean countries.
