Green’s ‘album of corruption’ at Santiago’s icon landmark

Santiago.- The grassroots movement Green March on Sunday installed the “album of corruption” in a square of the Monument to the Heroes of the Restoration, the city’s icon landmark.

Placed on the tree were photos of former president Leonel Fernandez; of the current presidents of the Senate, Reynaldo Pared; and of the former senior official Temístocles Montás, current Public Works minister, Gonzalo Castillo and senator Felix Bautista.

The date of the Green’s album of corruption coincides with a regional call to fight impunity promoted locally by the National Committee to Fight Climate Change (CNLCC), according to spokesman Enrique de Leon.
