Bahía Príncipe Open golf tournament coming May 1 to 5

San Pedro, Dominican Republic.- With over US$30,000 in prizes  the first “Bahía Príncipe Open” golf tournament will be held from May 1 to 5 at the “Ocean’s 4 Golf Complex,” formerly Bahia Principe on Playa Nueva Romana, San Pedro de Macorís.

The 54-hole amateur tournament will be held in the individual Stableford mode.

So far, 60 participants have been confirmed, 20 of them national and could reach 200, said resort golf director Carlos de Linares.

“The tournament will bring together Spanish players in an incomparable setting, with the vocation of bringing the practice of golf closer to those who visit the Dominican Republic as an exciting, healthy and inclusive sport,” said de Linares.
