480 new flights start arriving next week, mostly from US

Santo Domingo.- Civil Aviation Board (JAC) president Luis Ernesto Camilo, on Tues. announced that 480 flights will arrive in the Dominican Republic through the various airports next week, mostly from North American cities.

Camilo said that 6.7 million passengers were mobilized in the first five months, representing an additional 341,745 and a growth of 5.39% over the same period the previous year.

He added that in May the growth trend continued in five of the seven active international airports in the country, with the La Romana terminal at the top of the figures with 9,282 additional passengers, a 124.7% growth compared to May 2018.
