Santo Domingo.– International and local maritime companies during several weeks coordinated in the effort to save the Tanzania-registry container ship HABIB EXPRESS, which was stranded since September 12.
The Dominican Navy said its assets supervised the operation, supported by the T&T Salvage LLC rescue agency, the Dominican SvitzerCaribbean Companies and the Dominican Maritime Agency (MARDOM).
“Integrated logistics services where put into a rescue plan for the ship, with a deployment of six vessels and a multi-task crane barge.”
