State bank car show gets requests for US$124.5M in auto loans

Santo Domingo.- Expomóvil Banreservas concluded Saturday night with requests for financing exceeding RD$6.6 billion (US$124.5 million), or 4,641 vehicles of various brands and types, the financial institution said.

By the end of the afternoon, RD$3.8 billion had been approved, while business officials continued to refine the volume of applications nationwide.

Banreservas general manager, Simón Lizardo, stressed that the facilities granted by this Expomóvil have contributed to the renewal of the vehicle park. “The financial institution reaffirms its promotion of the growth and development of the country and in particular of the automotive sector.”
