One dead, one shot as protests again paralyze Haiti capital: EFE

Port-au-Prince.- At least one man died Thursday and another was shot during the day of protests that again paralyzed the Haitian capital, in a new mobilization that seeks to force president Jovenel Moise’s resignation, EFE reports.

The two victims were at the demonstration and were pick-pocketing other people in the street near the National Palace, where an unidentified gunman shot them, a police officer told Efe at the scene.

The wounded was placed in a Red Cross ambulance and the deceased was lying on the street, before the eyes of dozens of onlookers.
