Low chance of rain as hot, dry air sets in

Santo Domingo.- The Meteorology Office forecasts a low possibility of rainfall as a mass of dry air has covered most of the territory which remains stable.

It said the prevailing east -southeast wind however will drag a mass of clouds, with the possibility of widely scattered showers during the afternoon and early evening, especially over the Central Mountains and border area. Similar conditions are forecast for Wednesday.

Meteorology said the Atlantic Coast surf is gradually returning to normal, and discontinued its small craft warnings.

A slight increase in wave heights is expected Wednesday in the Atlantic, and there’re no navigation restrictions along the Caribbean coast.
