First Lady’s Office opens new care center

Santo Domingo.– The First Lady’s Office inaugurated Friday a Comprehensive Care Center for the Handicapped (CAID), in a ceremony headed by president Danilo Medina and his wife Candida Montilla de Medina.

During the ceremony, held in the CAID new building located in Luperon Avenue, Montilla explained that in the next three years nearly 328.440 children will receive the care they require for their condition.

Four other centers are planned to be opened in Santiago, San Juan, Higuey and Santo Domingo.
