Metrology forecasts mostly sunny skies for the next 48 hours

SANTO DOMINGO. – The National Meteorology Office on Friday forecast mostly sunny skies with widely scattered showers during the next 24 to 48 hours, from a almost stationary high pressure system located in the Atlantic Ocean.

It said the system, located near central Cuba, will slightly increase cloudiness and but with little rains during the weekend across the country.

Meteorology said marine conditions along the Caribbean coast have returned to normal, with scattered clouds, increasing at times in the area of Santo Domingo.
