Partly cloudy skies, scattered showers, mostly for the east

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecasts partly cloudy skies with scattered showers Tuesday morning, continuing in the afternoon, mostly for the eastern half of the country.

It said a trough approaching slowly from the Mona Passage will bring showers during the next 48 hours, more frequent in the afternoon and evening hours, for the Caribbean coast, the East and Northeast.

For Wednesday the showers will be more frequent over the Caribbean coast.

ONAMET said it will be mostly sunny on Thursday with low probability of rainfall, while the east-southeast wind will bring seasonable temperatures during the day, cooling at night and early morning.
