Brit teens give Dominican Republic police ‘the slip'(Update)

Santo Domingo.- While some UK media report that runaway British teens were located ‘safe and sound, others say 16 year-old Edward Bunyan and Indira Gainiyeva, 17, “give police the slip again.”

Gloucestershireecho.co.uk reports that after running off to Dominican Republic, the two teenagers “had been tracked down to their five-star Caribbean hideout a week after they left – but eluded police again.”

It said Bunyan and Gainiyeva were found in the Occidental hotel in in Punta Cana, in Dominican Republic’s sprawling eastern resort region. “But they gave police the slip,” after using their credit cards at the luxury resort.

The teens reportedly sneaked out of a posh boarding school last week, before flying to the Dominican Republic.

Bunyanwas born in England while Gainiyeva is from Kazakhstan.
