Santo Domingo.- Anticorruption Department (DPCA) director Hotoniel Bonilla Wednesday announced the interrogation of the ex director of the damns and canals agency Indhri, Hector Rodriguez Pimentel, charged with malfeasance in his post.

Bonilla said the DPCA will be able to provide the investigation results within the next few days. He said Rodriguez Pimentel was interrogated in the presence his lawyer Carlos Salcedo, and that precise steps are being taken in the war on corruption in Dominican Republic.

When the case file was submitted to the DPCA several months ago, Bonilla called Rodriguez Pimentel “pathologically corrupt.”
