Sunny skies lure swimmers and boaters back to the water

SANTO DOMINGO. – The National Meteorology Office forecasts low probabilities of showers in the country Wednesday, as a high pressure system spurs the circulation of dry air.

It said most of the country can expect mostly clear skies most of the day. Nevertheless, though the prevailing east wind could drag some cloudiness and widely scattered showers over the Northeast, Southeast and Central Mountains.

Meteorology said there’s a low probability of rains for the next two days, while the coastal surf will remain normal this week.

It adds that swimming and navigation can resume without restrictions at least until Saturday, when a frontal system enters the forecast area.
