Scattered showers, calm seas

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecasts scattered showers with thunderstorms today, from a trough in Haiti’s northwest, combined with humidity from the East-Southeast wind.

It said the precipitation will be mostly in the Northeast, Southeast, Central Mountains and the border area, in the morning and early evening. It said similar conditions are expected Wednesday.

ONAMET said temperatures will be seasonably high, and has discontinued the small craft warnings along the coasts.
