New York.- Santiago native and amateur boxer Pedro Luis Sosa, 19, underwent surgery emergency Monday as doctors struggle to save his life, from injuries sustained in a car accident which killed his sister Jennifer.

His family cried their loss yesterday Monday, but cling to hope of Sosa’s recovery.
