Collado said this remarkable growth was also registered by sea, with the February visit of 301,384 cruise passengers. He noted that cruise passenger arrivals in February represented an increase of 19% over the same month last year, 208% over 2022, and 159% over 2019.

“Incredible. We broke our own records again. A 1,057,216 visitors in the month of February alone,” the minister highlighted.

The arrival of non-resident tourists by air was 59.7% through Punta Cana airport, 21% through Las Americas (AILA), and 9.5% through Cibao.
