Nationwide – After Boar’s Head Provisions Co., Inc. announced the voluntary recall of some Boar’s Head brand meat products due to possible contamination with the bacterium Listeria Monocytogenes, the National supermarket reported that the product in question had not been imported into the Dominican Republic and did not belong to its portfolio.

On July 25, Boar’s Head® recalled a product from its plant in Virginia for possible bacterial contamination. The product in question, Boar’s Head® Strassburger Brand Liverwurst (pork liver pâté) has not been imported into the Dominican Republic at any time and therefore does not belong to our portfolio.
Due to our commitment to quality and as a precautionary measure, on July 30, we voluntarily recalled several Boar’s Head® products produced in the same plant despite showing no signs or having any alerts of being affected. If you purchased any of the following products before the date of July 30th, we will gladly receive them and exchange them for others at
