Arturo Fuente Cigar Club hosts Golf Tournament to benefit 400+ children

La Romana.- The Arturo Fuente Cigar Club hosted its fourth annual invitational golf tournament at the prestigious Diente de Perro course in Casa de Campo, with the goal of supporting the education of 460 children from the Humo de Amor Foundation in Monsignor Nouel province. The event brought together 128 players, blending a love for golf and Arturo Fuente cigars in a stunning setting.

Led by Ciro Cascella, CEO of Fuente Cigar, and Carlito Fuente, president of the Fuente Cigar Board, the tournament ended with an awards ceremony and a celebratory lunch, featuring cigars and a gourmet pairing of food, wine, and spirits. George Riley and Edgar Alma won the Gross prize with a score of 57 strokes.

The tournament’s proceeds will benefit the Humo de Amor Foundation, which provides education, healthcare, and nutrition to vulnerable children in Bonao. This year, the foundation will graduate students specializing in Computer Networking and nursing. Major sponsors included Lexus, Brugal, Mercedes-Benz, and Banreservas/Mastercard.
