Public Works detours traffic on southern highway

Santo Domingo.- The Public Works Ministry on Tuesday announced a detour for light vehicle traffic on the Bani-Azua road, at the span known as El Numero.

It said crews of the contractor Constructora Rizek work to rebuild and expand the road and noted that the detour will be only for light vehicles, from 7am to 5pm, with a speed limit of 30KPH, Monday to Sunday.

In a statement, Public Works adds that heavy vehicles must use the existing road, where traffic will be controlled in approximately hourly intervals.
