Ministry of Culture closes to visitors for book fair

Santo Domingo.- The Ministry of Culture announced it is preparing for the upcoming XXVI International Book Fair and XII International Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism, temporarily closing to visitors during this period. The ministry will announce additional cultural presentations for the end of the year.

The Santo Domingo International Book Fair (FILSD 2024) will take place from November 7 to 17 at the Plaza de la Cultura, featuring over 100 national and international bookstores and publishers. Representatives from 18 countries will participate, and the event will honor intellectual Mateo Morrison. Four large pavilions will be set up for exhibitors to showcase literary and academic works, aiming to foster meaningful connections through literature.
