US Embassy announces showing of classic American films

Santo Domingo.- The United States Embassy in collaboration with the Films Agency and the Cinemateca Dominican announced the showing of a film series dedicated to the great American classics (Base Classics), from January 16 to 21.

The films, to be presented free of charge in their original language with subtitles in Spanish, were selected from 100 of the best films of the American Film Institute (AFI), in charge of preserving that heritage, to honor movie artists and educate the next generation of filmmakers.
