Fiordaliza Rodriguez, 1st Dominican judge in Bronx family court

New York.- Attorney Fiordaliza Rodriguez was named the first Dominican judge in Bronx family court, a post she will serve for 10 years once inducted on June 27.

Rodriguez was nominated by Mayor Bill de Blasio and had the support of Democratic party legislators, and political and local leaders.

"Through the years I‘ve known of Ms Rodríguez’s career and I think she will be a competent judge in Bronx family court," de Blasio said.
