Consul in NY sees bright future for Dominican films

New York.- Dominican Consul general Eduardo Selman on Tuesday said his country’s film industry bodes a promising future where youngster must play a leading role as actors, for veteran filmmakers who’re chosen Dominican Republic for major productions.

The official spoke as special guest during the Dominican Film Festival in New York’s (DFFNY) second gala, leading to the next festival from June 24 to 28.

Selman affirmed that Dominicans in their country as well as those abroad are showing their talent in short films, documentaries and feature films, boasting authentically Dominican images.
