104 apartments for evicted families in Nagua ‘ready by Aug.’

Nagua, Dominican Republic.- The head of the State Works Supervisory Engineers Office (OISOE) on Monday said construction of the 104 apartments advances in the city’s La 40 sector, where the same number of families evicted from the beach will be relocated, to make way for a seaside boulevard.

Miguel Pimentel Kareh, during a tour with contractor Bienvenida Liriano said the Villa Progreso-Nagua housing project would be finished by August fulfilling the instructions resident Danilo Medina to deliver it as soon as possible to the families need.

"Work on this project is well advanced, sothe waiting time of the evicted families is coming to an end, the president hasn’t forgotten and on his instructions we’re working tirelessly to deliver them as soon as possible," the official said, adding that the project on ??57,000 square meters comprises of 13, 4-story buildings.
