Melgen leaves Florida jail on US$18M bond: Palm Beach Post

West Palm Beach.- After more than two months of toughnegotiations over how to assure Dominican-born eye doctor Salomon Melgen won’tflee the country, a U.S. magistrate signed off on an US$18 million bond packageon Thursday.

The outlet released a video sowing the ophthalmologist leavingthe Palm Beach County jail together with his lawyers to go home to await trialon charges that he bilked Medicare out of US$105 million.
