Cars, bikes roar on Sunday in Claro Grand Prix at Sunix speedway

Santo Domingo.- Dominican Race Events (DRE) executives on Wednesday announced the Claro Grand Prix for cars and motorcycles, slated for Sunday at the Sunix speedway starting 10am.

The Claro Grand Prix is the season’s second national auto and motorcycle championship and will pit Puerto Rican, Cuban, Haitian, Panamanian and Dominican racers on the Caribbean course once again.

Sunix speedway general manager Diego Almonte said the track underwent great improvements to provide a better show for fans and heightened safety for drivers.

“This ensuring greater competitiveness in every race,” Almonte said and thanked the sponsors for their confidence in the staging of the event.
