Fuel prices fall as much as RD$8.20; gases stay put

Santo Domingo.- The Industry and Commerce Ministry postedlower prices on all fuels except propane and natural gases for the week from August1 to 7, when premium gasoline will cost RD$217.50, or RD$7.00 lower, andregular gasoline will sell for RD$200.10, down RD$4.00 per gallon.

Premium diesel willcost RD$156.00 and regular diesel RD$148.00, both down RD$8.20, while optimum dieselwill cost RD$167.80, or RD$7.40 less per gallon

Avtur will cost RD$104.30,down RD$6.70; kerosene will cost RD$130.80, or RD$7.90 lower; fuel oil will costRD$85.93, down RD$6.40, while propane gas continues at RD$78.70 per gallon andnatural gas at RD$29.44 per cubic meter.

The Central Bank´sposted average exchange rate of RD$45.10 per dollar was used to calculate fuelprices.
