US Embassy Consular Section to host briefing in Punta Cana

Santo Domingo.- The USEmbassy Consular Section will hold one of his usual briefings on visas andconsular services next August 27 at Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) Cap Canacampus, from 10am to 12noon.

it said during the briefingConsular Section staff will provide information on nonimmigrant or tourist visas,and immigrant visas.

Similarly, consular officers will share information on theservices offered by the Bavaro-Punta Cana Consular Agency and general servicesand assistance in case of emergencies for US citizens including representativesof travel agencies and hotels in the area,” the US Embassy said in a statement.

It will also provideinformation on scholarship programs sponsored by the US Embassy in the country suchas Fulbright, Humphrey and Global Exchange Program, among others.

“Although the activityis free and open to the public those interested should reserve their spot bywriting to santodomingovisas@state.gov before August 25. The "RSVP-VISAS referenceshould be used if you need information about visas or RSVP- ACS" if youneed information on services to citizens of the United States, depending on yourinterest. Space is limited and admission will not be permitted withoutreservation.
