Pope´s envoy sex abuse victims should get compensation, says prosecutor

Santo Domingo.- The prosecutorof National District on Monday said the Justice Ministry analyzes how to securedamages for the several boys allegedly sexually abused by Pope Francis´ envoyJozef Wesolowski, who died at the Vatican late August.

"We understandthat the victims should be compensated," Yeni Berenice Reynoso toldreporters.

On September 2 theprelate´s alleged victims were taken to her office to discuss compensation. Oneof them said then that the Vatican had offered financial compensation, but didn’tspecify.
