Medina, Abinader to speak at American Chamber of Commerce luncheons

Santo Domingo.- Dominican Republic’s ruling party (PLD)announced Monday that president Danilo Medina will be the invited speaker as apresidential candidate at the American Chamber of Commerce’s (AMCHAM-DR) monthlyluncheon next Wednesday.

In a statement the PLD the AMCHAM-DR will host only twoluncheons during the rest of the campaign, with the two main presidentialcandidates leading to the May 15 elections.

It said the activity will be in a hotel in the capital on theMalecon (George Washington Av.) for which only business and political personalitiesare invited to listen to the candidates’ proposals through a speech and will fieldquestions from the guests.

The PLD said in the activity slated for Wednesday at 24:30 March30, Medina will speak about the progress in numerous projects planned for “whatwill be his second term in the 2016-2020 period.”
