Fresh off the press: 7.0M ballots for presidency, vote abroad

Santo Domingo.- Central Electoral Board (JCE) president RobertoRosario on Monday said all of the seven million ballots for the presidency and for voting abroadhave already been printed.

He said the ballots for the congressional and municipallevels will be ready in around 10 days.

The JCE president said he’s satisfied with the pace onwhich the various ballots that will be cast on May 15 are being printed.

Security measures

Rosario spoke during a tour to supervise and inspect theballot printing, at the companies Diario Libre and Corripio, winners of thetender.

He said the ballots will be distributed with all securitymeasures to the various polling stations locally and abroad, where the transferis done via diplomatic pouch.
