Diesel, gasoline jump a 3rd straight week; natural gas unchanged

Santo Domingo.- The Industry and Commerce Ministry on Fridayposted higher prices on all fuels except natural gas for the week from April 30to May 6, when premium gasoline will cost RD$192.00, an increase of RD$3.10 andregular will cost RD$172.70, or RD$2.90 more per gallon.

Optimum diesel will sell for RD$146.30, an increase of RD$3.00,regular diesel will cost RD$131.00, an increase of RD$2.90 per gallon.

Avtur will cost RD$90.80, an increase of RD$1.90; kerosenewill cost RD$113.90, an increase of RD$2.10, while fuel oil will cost RD$68.83,an increase of RD$2.39 per gallon.

Propane gas will cost RD$88.60, an increase of RD$1.00 pergallon, while natural gas remains unchanged at RD$23.22 per cubic meter.

The Central Bank posted average exchange rate of RD$45.88per dollar was used to calculate all fuel prices.
