Cabarete among world’s best spots for kiteboarding

Cabarete, DR.- Dominican Republic’s Cabarete (north) is ranked number two among world’s best beaches for kiteboarding, according to online website actionhub.com.

Praised by its consistent winds, Cabarete beaches are also protected by a shallow reef "which means smooth water inside and light breaking waves just outside the beach," the report said.

First in the ranking is La Ventana, in Baja California, which perfectly combines the consistent winds with the breathtaking scenery. The other destinations in the top five are Dakhla in Morocco, Jupiter in Florida and Venezuela’s Isla Margarita.
