Santo Domingo.- For the eighth consecutive years the powercompany AES Dominicana has established itself as one of the best places to workin the Dominican Republic’s and the Caribbean, says the annual ranking of theinternational firm ‘Great Place to Work,’ (GPTW) released recently in PuertoRico.
The energy group ranked 9th (of a total of 22companies at regional level Central America and the Caribbean) and 8th from atotal of 18 companies in the Dominican Republic.
The GPTW ranking recognizes AES in the Dominican Republic forpromoting policies and practices that improve the quality of life of theirorganization and meet certification requirements.
"This is a collective achievement of each of us as aresult of the improvement in communication, which serves as a source to bettermanage the work environment in a comprehensive manner and the level ofempowerment that each employee needs to perform their functions," said EdwinDe los Santos, president of AES Dominicana.
