Sunny, hot and muggy weekend

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet) forecastscloudy skies with low probability of rainthroughout the country, from a high pressure system all levels of theatmosphere.

It said however that the east wind will drag humidity, sparking widely scattered showers in the afternoon and early evening.

“For this weekend a weather pattern continues with littlechange, because the persisting high pressure system will inhibit cloudformations in most regions of the country, so the rainy activity will bescarce, and the rains present they are scattered and short-lived, originatingon the Central Mountains and border area,” Onamet said.

It said the coasts across the country will have excellent conditionsat all the beaches during this weekend.

Onamet adds that temperature will range from a high of 32.5ºCto a low of 23.5ºC.
