Medina cuts ribbon on US$105M Nickelodeon resort in Punta Cana

Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.- President Danilo Medinaon Friday headed ribbon-cutting for the hotelNickelodeon Punta Cana, built in just over a year at an estimated cos of US$105.0million.

The resort is Nickelodeon’s first Gourmet InclusiveExperience hotel, built by Karisma Hotels & Resorts.

Nickelodeon Punta Cana, in the Uvero Alto area, is a 5-starresort with 204 rooms and six different styles.

The resort features a Nick Place, with a Nick Studio, kidsclub, Nick Theater and Nick Aqua Park. Also Character Central, a space to minglewith the personalities.

During the ceremony, Medina chatted with investorsand special guests, the Presidency said on its website.
