Santo Domingo.- Several National Police officers accompaniedby several prosecutors Tuesday morning raided offices of Empresas Belgar, aloans and services company located on the corner of Pellerano with Uruguaystreets, next to the National Palace.
Few details of the raids have emerged thus far, as the forthe Special Operations and Criminal Investigations of the Departments officersconduct the search accompanied by several prosecutors, including Carlos Vidal,of the National District Office of the Prosecutor’s Services Dept.
The agents closed off Pellerano St. as part of theoperation, while residents in the area complain of the unexpected inconvenience,because the agents don’t let them through.
Vidal declined comment to the press, while some agents on motorcycleswere deployed to patrol the area.
